New Year’s Greeting-2023
As we usher in a brand-new year, on behalf of the leadership team of CLNG, I would like to extend warm greetings and best wishes to all ship & shore employees and your families.
Guided and supported by the new board of directors, CLNG has maintained overall safety production stable in 2022 and successfully achieved the management goals as deployed by the board at the beginning of 2022. By utilizing the opportunity of global low-carbon trend, CLNG succeeded to empower itself through continual refining management and developing new LNG projects, with tremendous breakthroughs being made in both areas. CLNG/NYK/MISC/K-line Consortium has been awarded 12 LNG ships for Qatar LNG Project and CLNG was chosen as the shipowning partner of Shenzhen Gas for 1 LNG Ship, drawing an end to 7 years’ development bottleneck.
Looking ahead, 2023 is the first year of implementing the decisions of 20th CPC National Congress and materializing high-quality development of CLNG, we shall give full play to our unique strength and continuously enhance core competitiveness in key areas driven by LNG project development and operation on the basis of proper benchmarking, competition and cooperation. We will continue to ensure safety in fleet operation and stability in profitability as our top priority.
Dear colleagues, LNG shipping is facing unprecedented challenges and to keep pace with the trend, we shall boost up morale and gain momentum in a move to materialize our vision of becoming a globally competitive gas shipping service provider and create the maximum value for our shareholders on a sustainable basis.
Last but not least, I wish all of you a happy and healthy New Year.
