2025 New Year's Speech
As we bid farewell to the old and welcome the new, may this New
Year bring you hope and joy. I would like to extend my sincerest New
Year greetings to all employees and their families on behalf of the
company's management team.
Over the past twenty years, we have made significant achievements and
overcome numerous challenges together.
Looking back, our company, has pioneered a new chapter
in China's LNG shipping industry. In April 2008, the successful delivery of
China's first LNG vessel, Dapeng Sun, marked the beginning of
a new era in China's LNG shipping industry. Our growth over these
two decades mirrors the remarkable ascent of China’s economy,
highlighting the great achievements of China's reform and opening-up.
Currently, we are faced with both
opportunities and challenges. China is experiencing one of its best
developmental periods in history, coinciding with global changes. These
dynamics are interconnected and mutually influential. We must adopt a flexible
mindset and prepare for change while maintaining strategic focus and
confidence. Our goal is to excel in our operations, seizing opportunities in
times of crisis and forging new paths.
In the past year, our fleet of 22 LNG operational vessels has been
running smoothly. The first phase of the QP Project is progressing steadily,
and the second phase of the QP project, has secured two QC Max-type large LNG
vessels orders. We have achieved different kinds of operational targets assigned
by the Board of Directors. These accomplishments are a result of the hard work
and dedication of every employee, and I would like to express my gratitude to
all of you. Our achievements are a testament to our collective efforts.
Looking ahead to 2025, CLNG carries the responsibility and trust
of our shareholders. Our company will carry forward the pioneering spirit, stay
committed to its social responsibility, promote high-quality development, and
create greater value for the customers. We will work tirelessly to realize the
great goal of national rejuvenation. We will contribute our strength to support
the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country with a focus on
sustainable development.
As we enter the Year of the Snake, let us draw
inspiration from its qualities to enhance our wisdom and vitality, responding
to market changes with agility while adhering to refined management practices
to improve our operational standards. Through innovative development and
digital empowerment, we will continue to strengthen our competitive edge,
ensuring stable returns for our shareholders.
