Engaged in drafting and negotiating ship technical specifications, choice of shipyard and supervision during ship-building period. The CLNG technical team initially worked with Shell International Trading and Shipping Company Limited (“STASCO”) on supervision of 5 Membrane type LNG carriers and independently conducted the supervision of 1 Membrane type LNG carrier.
Engaged in project feasibility studies, the formulation and evaluation of LNG shipping proposals, the drafting and negotiation of business contract, as well as daily management of the SOCs, it is the dominant shareholder.
The LNG transportation projects led by CLNG or with CLNG’s participation are in line with China’s energy policy, which had received great support from Chinese financial institutions with favorable financing terms. Meanwhile, they will continue to provide financing support to CLNG’s new project development.
