According to the Company’s shareholder agreement, the board is the decision maker of the Company. The Company practices the general manager responsibility system under the leadership of the board of directors. The board of directors of the Company is as follows:

Chairman   Wang Yongxin

Mr. Wang Yongxin is a senior economist with a master degree in Business Administration of International Business School, Nankai University. He graduated from Law School of Nankai University. He served a variety of management positions in the COSCO Shipping Bulk Co., Ltd, including General Manager of the President's Office, Deputy General Manager of the Shipping Department, Director of Legal Department, General Manager of the Integrated Business Department, as well as the Director of President’s Office. Joining the China COSCO Shipping (HK) Group in December 2012, Mr. Wang Yongxin served as the Group's General Manager of President's Office, Assistant to the President and Chief Legal Adviser. He joined China Merchants Group later in January 2017 as the Deputy Director of the Infrastructural Facilities and Equipment Manufacturing Department/Overseas Business Department, as well as the Deputy Director of the Human Resources Department. He has been serving as the President of CMES since January 2019.He has been the Director of CLNG since April 2019 and Chairman of CLNG from 30 June 2023 onwards.  

Vice ChairmanZhu Maijin

Mr. Zhu Maijin is a senior Captain with a master degree in management. He is currently an executive director, a member of the Strategy Committee and the President of COSCO Shipping Energy Transportation Co., Ltd (CSET). Mr. Zhu served as the Deputy General Manager (acting General Manager), the General Manager of the Maritime Management Department and the Assistant to General Manager of China Shipping Development Co., Ltd. Tanker Company, the Vice General Manager of China Shipping Tanker Company Limited and the General Manager of COSCO SHIPPING Tanker (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. He has been the Vice Chairman of CLNG since March 2022.

Director Luo Yuming

Mr. Luo Yuming is senior engineer with a bachelor degree in engineering. He is currently a vice president of CSET. Mr. Luo served as a captain of oil tankers, the Head of maritime section, the Assistant to General Manager and the Deputy General Manager of China Shipping Development Company Limited Tanker Company-(Guangzhou Branch), the Director of the Vessel Administration Department and the General Manager of the Shipping Department of China Shipping Development Co., Ltd. Tanker Company and the Vice General Manager of China Shipping Tanker Company Limited. He has been the Director of CLNG since March 2022.

Director Xu Hui

Mr. Xu Hui currently serves as Vice President and General Counsel of CMES. He once served as AMCL's business representative in London. From October 2008 to February 2014, he served as Assistant to President of CMES. He had been serving concurrently as Vice President of AMCL since July 2012 and as Vice President of CMES since February 2014. In October 2021, he began to serve concurrently as General Counsel of CMES. He has been the Director of CLNG since March 2021.

Director Tian Chao

Mr. Tian Chao is both a senior accountant and senior economic engineer with a doctorate degree in Accounting and Financial Management, He is also a certified public accountant of China, an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) member and a Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA) member. He is currently the Financial Controller of CSET, and has been the financial officer of the financial department of China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company, Director and General Manager of the Financial Department of Port of Antwerp Co., Ltd., General Manager of the Financial Department of COSCO SHIPPING (Europe) GmbH, as well as Assistant to the President and General Manager of the Financial Department of Piraeus Port Authority S.A. He has been the Director of CLNG since September 2021.

Director Lou Dongyang

Mr. Lou Dongyang is Chief Financial Officer of CMES. He joined the Institute for standardization of Nuclear Industry in July 1997 and the Planning and Finance Department of China Isotope Corporation in October 2001. From August 2003 to September 2012, he served on Supervisory Board of Key State-owned Large Enterprises of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. In September 2012, he joined China Merchants Group and served as Assistant Director and Deputy Director of the Finance Department (Property Rights Department) of the Group. From December 2017 to October 2022, he served as Chief Financial Officer of China Merchants Industry Holdings Co., Ltd. He has been the Director of CLNG since June 2023.

Director Zhai Wenfeng

Ms. Zhai Wenfeng is serving as the General Manager of Financial Department of CMES, and has been the Director of CLNG since March 2022.

Director Xu Yinsheng

Mr. Xu Yinsheng is serving as the General Manager of Financial Department of CSET, and has been the Director of CLNG since June 2019.
