CLNG and Daya Bay Maritime Safety Administration Hold Talks to Jointly Promote High-Quality Development of the LNG Industry Chain

On December 9, Sheng Shanxing, Managing Director of CLNG, led a delegation to visit Zhang Huaizhi, Director of the Shenzhen Daya Bay Maritime Safety Administration. The two sides held in-depth discussions on strengthening business cooperation and ensuring the safety of LNG transportation.
Sheng Shanxing expressed gratitude for the long-standing professional support from the Daya Bay Maritime Safety Administration, particularly for the efficient cooperation in the safety supervision of the 3 vessels involved in the Guangdong Dapeng LNG project. He also highly commended the professional competence and dedication of the Maritime Safety Administration's supervisory team. CLNG will continue to diligently study and implement the valuable suggestions put forward by the Maritime Safety Administration during vessel inspections, striving to continuously enhance safety management standards.
Zhang Huaizhi, Director of the Daya Bay Maritime Safety Administration welcomed the visit by the CLNG delegation. He reviewed the positive history of cooperation and the achievements in safety management between the two parties. Looking ahead, he expressed hope to further expand the areas of collaboration, strengthen communication and coordination, jointly address challenges in industry development, and inject sustained momentum into the safe and synergistic growth of the LNG industry chain. During the meeting, relevant functional departments of the Maritime Safety Administration provided an overview of the supervision of LNG vessels within their jurisdiction and discussed common issues.
Both sides conducted extensive and in-depth exchanges on multiple areas of cooperation, including the joint establishment of an LNG innovation studio, opening up vessel inspection platforms, conducting joint boarding inspections, and collaborating on personnel training and teaching material revisions. They look forward to taking their multi-dimensional cooperation to a new level.
