Through years of development, CLNG has become a domestic leading and an important international LNG shipping player, with an investment of eight LNG transportation projects consisting of 36 LNG vessels of which 23 carriers are under operation. We have extensive international LNG shipping operation experience, mainly in LNG vessel investment, management and supervision, and provide accounting, budgeting, fund management service as well as secretarial and administrative services for 20 SPVs.
CLNG is a professional LNG ship investment platform under COSCO Shipping Group and China Merchants Group. So far, it has invested a total of 36 LNG carriers (including 11 Arc7 LNG carriers). CLNG will continue to devote to the development of new LNG projects under the guidance and support of shareholders.
CLSICO is china’s first specialized LNG ship management Company. As CLNG’s ship management arm, CLSICO are managing the first 8 LNG carriers built in China. CLSICO tasks to operate LNG ships to the highest international standards while supports the development of the LNG industry in China.
Our company has deep expertise in LNG vessel technology and extensive experience in shipbuilding. Since 2004, we have collaborated with Shell to build China's first batch of five membrane-type LNG vessels and independently built one membrane-type LNG vessel (Shenhai). Partnering with multiple well-known international teams, we have efficiently completed the building and monitoring of 15 vessels (11 Arc7 vessels + 4 PU Project vessels).Currently, we are leading the construction of five new 174,000 m³ vessels for the QE Project Phase I and plays a key technical coordination role in the QE Project Phase II, involving 24 QC-MAX vessels. We will independently build No. 1 and No. 5 vessels, continuing to drive industry advancement.
CLNG provides corporate services( including accounting, budgeting, fund management, administrative and insurance arrangement) for 20 SPVs and financing service for 6 SPVs.
