Tanzanian Delegation Visits CLNG for Inspection and Exchange

On November 28, Ms. Sia Beatrice Mrema, Director of the Contracts and Treaties Division of the Tanzanian Attorney General’s Office, led a delegation to visit CLNG’s Shenzhen office for an inspection and exchange. The delegation was accompanied by Chen Hui, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Shipowners’ Association. CLNG General Manager Sheng Shanxing extended a warm welcome to the delegation. Company Deputy General Manager Shu Binglin, CLSICO General Manager Andrew Johnston, and heads of relevant departments participated in the reception and discussions. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on cooperation opportunities in the shipping sector.
CLNG highlighted its strengths as a leading LNG transportation enterprise in China, including its fleet of 36 invested LNG vessels, its professional ship management company, and its mature cooperation models covering joint ventures, long-term leasing, and ship management. The Tanzanian delegation shared insights into the prospects of LNG development. Both parties conducted thorough exchanges on market trends, green shipping, and potential cooperation models, laying a solid foundation for practical collaboration in the future.
