Xie Chunlin visited Hudong Zhonghua

On 9 February 2022, CLNG General Manager Chen Ping and Deputy General Manager Shu Binglin accompanied CMES Chairman Xie Chunlin and Deputy General Manager Xu Hui visiting Chen Jianliang, Chairman of Hudong Zhonghua. Present also were General Manager Chen Jun and Deputy General Manager Chi Benbin of Hudong-Zhonghua, as well as CMES Vice President Xu Hui.

Chen Ping reviewed the cooperation history with Hudong-Zhonghua in LNG ship-buildings. As the first customer to place an order for LNG carriers in Hudong-Zhonghua, CLNG has so far ordered a total of 10 LNG carriers, which laid a solid foundation for cooperation. He hoped that both parties, on the basis of current favorable relationships, could give full play to their respective advantages, strengthen information exchanging and sharing, deepen cooperation in the development of new LNG projects, and jointly promote the high-quality development of China’s LNG transportation industry.

Xie Chunlin expressed his gratitude to Hudong Zhonghua for its long-term and strong support, and hoped the two parties could further expand business cooperation in the development of new LNG projects, ship’s emission reduction and the application of new technologies, firmly implement the national strategy of energy transportation safety and achieve win-win results.

Chen Jianliang warmly welcomed the delegation, extended his gratitude for the strong support of CMES and CLNG for Hudong-Zhonghua's LNG ship-building business. Besides, he looked forward to deeper cooperation. Hudong-Zhonghua will continuously provide more advanced LNG carriers to its customers through continuous innovation and enhanced technology.
