Xu Hui visited COSCO Shipping LNG Investment Co., Ltd(CSLNG)

On 9 February 2022, CLNG General Manager Chen Ping and Deputy General Manager Shu Binglin accompanied Xu Hui, Vice President of China Merchants Energy Shipping (CMES), visited Qin Jiong, Chairman of CSLNG. CSLNG General Manager Cong Jian, Secretary of the Party Committee Lin Nan, and Assistant General Manager Mao Huayu attended the meeting.

The two parties exchanged views on the position of LNG investment platform as well as the development and coordination of LNG transportation projects. Both sides shared the viewed that with the gradual implementation of Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality policy, global energy transformation will be accelerating accordingly, and the LNG transportation industry is much expected to thrive from now on. Driven by China’s and shareholders’ Energy Transportation strategy, CLNG and CSLNG should seize the golden opportunity of LNG development, strive for participation in worldwide LNG transportation projects to make Chinese LNG shipowners’ voices loud and clear. Meanwhile both parties agreed to enhance internal exchanges and coordination, intensify benchmarking to realize continual improvement and jointly promote the high-quality development of China's LNG transportation industry.
