Xie Chunlin Attended the Signing Ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement for Shenzhen Gas LNG Shipping Project

On the afternoon of 26th September, 2022, the signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between Shenzhen Gas and CLNG for LNG shipping project was held in Shenzhen. Present at the signing ceremony were Xie Chunlin, Chairman of China Merchants Energy Shipping Co., Ltd. (CMES) and CLNG, Zhu Maijin, General Manager of COSCO Shipping Energy Transportation Co., Ltd. (CSET) and Vice Chairman of CLNG, Li Zhen, Chairman of Shenzhen Gas, and Zhang Xiaodong, President of Shenzhen Gas.

Mr. Xie Chunlin mentioned that, as state-owned LNG energy and transportation enterprises rooted in Shenzhen, the cooperation between Shenzhen Gas and CLNG hooked up players from the midstream and downstream of the LNG industry chain for a win-win situation and a favorable local partnership, which is in line with the state's strategic initiatives to ensure safe and stable supply of energy. He hoped both parties can further play to their strengths by leveraging core capabilities, tap into potential opportunities and materialize profound win-win cooperation.

Mr. Li Zhen emphasized that, CLNG’s extensive experience in LNG ship operation and management has made the choice of CLNG as a partner for Shenzhen Gas a sure thing and will substantially benefit this project. He looked forward that both parties will continuously work together by taking the unique advantage of Shenzhen and jointly explore new ways to refine energy operation for mutual benefits.

Cong Jian, General Manager of CLNG and Guo Jiajing, Vice Present of Shenzhen Gas signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of each side. Xu Hui, Duputy General Manager of CMES and Director of CLNG, Shu Binglin, Deputy General Manager of CLNG, Wu Jianshi, Chief Financial Officer of CLNG, Yang Guang, Vice President of Shenzhen Gas, and Qiu Lihua, Chief Economist of Shenzhen Gas, etc., attended the ceremony.
